Zone Of Interest

The film centers around Rudolf Höss (the camp commandant of Auschwitz) and his family through moments during WW2.

The work delivered consisted of adding a CG camp into a lot of shots, a river of ash (FX), multiple shots of chimney smoke and fire, DMP environments, toxic sky smoke, numerous splitscreens/morphs, and a lot of prep work!

The majority of shots were filmed simultaneously through up to 10 cameras and the angle was then chosen in post. This meant that every shot had multiple cameras that needed to be painted out.

The film was screened recently at the Cannes Film Festival and won the Grand Prix!
