One of Us is looking for an experienced Pipeline Engineer to work on the development and implementation of our 3D work flow. The focus will initially be on developing our 3D publishing pipeline. Although it is expected that you will contribute to the full range of VFX pipeline responsibilities. e.g asset management, render farm management and production management systems.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain artist tools that are easy to learn and use.
Integrate commercial and open-source systems into the OOU production pipeline.
Create user-friendly documentation and tutorials for new tools and work flows.

Excellent Python and Linux skills
Knowledge of industry-standard scene data formats: Alembic, USD, etc.
Experience with revision control and release management: Git, Perforce/SVN, etc.
Experience developing tools and or plug-ins in at least one high end 3D software package, e.g. Maya, Houdini
Good generalist skills
Nice to have:
Proven experience in the visual effects, animation, games or other computer graphics related industries.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other relevant area of study and/or equivalent job experience.
Experience with common API’s; Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Shotgun
Familiar with Maya rigging, animation and referencing.
Experience with GUI toolkits: Qt, PyQt/PySide, etc.
